Ageratum - Artist Blue

This Proven Winner plant is able to renew itself continuously throughout the season by over-growing old blooms with fresh colorful new blooms. The Artist Blue has an open habit and will add texture and mid-height interest in large containers or landscapes. The Ageratum Artist Blue, 'Ageratum hybrid', has beautiful true blue blooms. It is also exceptionally heat tolerant. They flower May through October and are a low maintainence plant. They produce radiant clusters of fuzzy flowers, early and on even compact plants. Coleus - Kingswood Torch Frost will cause them to die immediately. If a coleus plant is allowed to seed, it has completed its life cycle and will die. Poorly drained soils and excessive watering will damage coleus. The brilliant colors explode in sunny locations. Flower buds should be pinched off as soon as they develop. Coleus plants are durable and easy to grow. These plants will do best in temperatures above 55 degrees. The coleus plants are a tender perennials. Plants suffering from "wet feet" will be stunted, leaves will turn a muddy brown, and leaf margins will be scorched. Coleus must have good soil drainage. These new, bigger, sun loving varieties have revolutionized contanier gardening.
