Bleeding Heart - Specatabilis Alba

The Bleeding Heart Specatabilis ‘Alba’, 'Dicentra specatabilis ‘Alba’, is a fast-growing perennial with white, heart-shaped flowers. Do not let it dry out. Dicentra should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade. ‘Alba’ makes excellent cut flowers, in mass with groundcovers, or in potted containers. Being an old fashioned plant, it is a must in any landscape. Two, the foliage is lime-green rather then green. Dicentra ‘Alba’ has a plant height of 2-3’ and a width of 20”. It is heat tolerant and needs moist soil. One is the wonderful white flowers that it produces. ‘Alba’ has two distinguishing features that make it a little different from the rest. Dianthus - Blushing Maidens The Dianthus 'Blushing Maidens' Dianthus Hybrid, has beautiful blush pink blooms and silver foliage. With its grassy blue-gray foliage and profuse blooming time, ‘Blushing Maidens’ is one not to miss. Dianthus ‘Blushing Maidens’ has a plant spread of 6-8” and a height of 6”. In order for a longer bloom time, deadhead the blooms continuously throughout the summer. Dianthus needs a sunny site with well-drained soil, but will tolerate some shade in the afternoon and humidity.
