Caladium - Fannie Munson

The Caladium Fannie Munson, 'Caladium', has impressive bright pink foliage with green spotted edging. The colors are extremely showy from July to Frost. ‘Fannie Munson’ should be planted in part-shade and in a well-drained area. Try planting ‘Fannie Munson’ in containers for the patio, in window boxes or to brighten up you perennial garden. Its leaves can be almost translucent, making it less ideal for sunny locations because it will easily sunburn. It has a plant height of 16-18” and a spread of 12-18”. ... more info

 

Hosta - Fire and Ice The Hosta Fire and Ice, 'Hosta fortunei', has heart shaped leaves with white centers and dark green margins. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. With a plant height of 20” and a spread of 30”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Fire and Ice’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known for their flowers. A great choice for any beginner gardener.
