Celosia - Pink Glow

Pink Glow is a great garden performer. This plant is vigorous and is an excellent performer. Like all Celosia plumosa, the flowers can be cut and dried for long lasting homemade bouquets. The Pink Glow has bright plumes that crown the dwarf, 9 to 11 inch tall plants with excellent branching. The Celosia Pink Glow, 'Celosia plumosa', also known as Cockscomb, is one of the most colorful foliage plants for beds, borders, pots, planters and window boxes. Tomato - Big Girl Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. Tomatoes should be planted outside after the last average frost date. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. Big Girls are a highly adaptable intermediate tomato variety and they are resistant to verticillium and fusarium wilts. This variety is full-season bearing and is more crack-tolerant. The Tomato Big Girl, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum', features a solid fruit that matures to a rich red color. Big Girl is a heavy producer of large, bright red, firm fruits weighing up to 1 pound.
