Crusader Hawthorn

The Crusader Hawthron is tolerant to shearing which makes this an excellent barrier or large hedge plant. The white flowers are followed by dark red fruits which persist into winter. The Crusader Hawthorn, 'Crataegus crusgalli "Crusader' , is small tree that produces an abundance of white flowers in the spring. Use this thornless tree for both street and lawn plantings. The branches are arranged in a pleasing layered habit. This thornless Hawthron has glossy green foliage and displays brilliant maroon colors in the fall. Black Oak It is sometimes called yellow oak, quercitron, yellowbark oak, or smoothbark oak. The green leaves have a notably velvety underside. It generally is inferior to that of the Red Oak.
