Dahlia - Clair Obscur
It is considered a cactus type flower because of its wide diameter and petals that stand out in three dimensions. The Dahlia Clair Obscur, 'Dahlia Clair Obscur', has velvety rich flowers that are a deep maroon color frosted with white tips. 'Clair Obscur' is sturdy and upright with minimal staking, but will have longer stems and larger flowers if given support and deadheaded regularly. They are hardy zones 8-10, dig and store during winter in colder zones. One of the most breathtaking dahlias we offer for the cutting garden. ... get more information
Geranium - Southcombe Double They are perfect in the perennial border and work well as a ground cover too. There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. The Geranium Southcombe Double, 'Geranium oxonianum', displays fully double, pure pink blooms that sit atop bright green stems. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. For the most part, cranesbill are long-lived and do not require a lot of care. This plant would look wonderful in a pot on a sun-drenched porch and is also deer resistant. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. |
