The Hardy Geranium pratense Splish Splash, 'Geranium pratense', displays pure white flowers with streaks of lavender blue. Their carefree growing habits make them an ideal low maintenance plant that will grow anywhere and provide years of beauty. Growing 25-30" tall, these low growing mounds of dark green leaves topped with pastel blooms make geraniums an unequaled addition to the perennial border. This unusual variety of meadow cranesbill is one of the most vigorous hardy geraniums and is ideal for the front of a sunny border, although it will cope with a fairly shady spot. and bloom from June-August, provided it has good drainage. Geranium - Southcombe Double The Geranium Southcombe Double, 'Geranium oxonianum', displays fully double, pure pink blooms that sit atop bright green stems. There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. |
