Gladiolus - Glamini - Christopher
Bulb size 10-12 cm in circumference. They must be dug and stored in colder zones. They are hardy in zones 8-10. Since these Glaminis are so short and naturally sturdy, they don't need to be staked making them perfect for mixed borders , annual beds, tropical gardens, and even containers. This gladiola is half the height of the old-fashioned glads, but still has bright colors that stand out at a distance. These petite beauties are new to the industry and are a spectacular new addition to American gardens. Give them plenty of sun, well drained fertile soil, and plant a batch of bulbs every other week in early spring for continuous gorgeous blooms. Geranium - Southcombe Double This plant would look wonderful in a pot on a sun-drenched porch and is also deer resistant. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. They are perfect in the perennial border and work well as a ground cover too. There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. For the most part, cranesbill are long-lived and do not require a lot of care. The Geranium Southcombe Double, 'Geranium oxonianum', displays fully double, pure pink blooms that sit atop bright green stems. They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. |
