Hosta - Blue Angel

The cream flowers of this fast growing hosta bloom in mid-summer, however, hosta’s are not known for their flowers. The Hosta Blue Angel, Hosta 'Blue Angel', has huge, heart-shaped blue-grey leaves and tall stems producing cream colored flowers. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. Blue Angel needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained spot and has excellent slug resistance. The Dianthus Fire Star, Dianthus 'Fire Star' (PPAF), has vibrant red flowers with a dark red eye with evergreen grey-green foliage. This plant blooms the best in the early summer however will rebloom in the fall if deadheaded.
