Hosta - Fire and Ice

Hosta ‘Fire and Ice’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. With a plant height of 20” and a spread of 30”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. The Hosta Fire and Ice, 'Hosta fortunei', has heart shaped leaves with white centers and dark green margins. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. A great choice for any beginner gardener. Lily - Blackout (Asiatic Lily) The Asiatic Lily Blackout, 'Lilum ‘Blackout’, has extremely dark red, almost black, flowers that produces 4-5 flowers per stem. Proven to be resistant to rots and virus, it should not be left out of the perennial garden. Cutting the pollen off the middle of the flower, not letting it touch the flower, will increase the bloom time on Lily’s. ‘Blackout’ has a plant height of 36” and is one of the newest Lily’s on the market today.
