Hosta - Liberty
This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. A great choice for any beginner gardener. It is a medium sized hosta that has a dark green leaves with a wide golden yellow margin that changes to cream in the summer and stems producing lavender colored flowers. Liberty is one of the best variegated slug resistant hosta's. The Hosta Liberty, Hosta 'Liberty' (PP12,531), is a sport of the well known variety Sagae and is considered by many to be the finest hosta ever introduced. The lavender flowers of this fast growing hosta bloom in late summer, however, hosta’s are not known for their flowers.
