Hosta - Striptease

It has wide, deeply veined, green leaves with gold and white running down the center of each leaf. The violet flowers of this hosta appear in mid summer, however hosta’s are not known for their flowers. This low care perennial is ideal for shady spots, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Striptease is no exception. Striptease will handle partial sun or shade and should be planted in any moist, well-drained spot. Rose Campion - Jenny Lychnis is deer resistant and a great perennial for mass plantings or at the back of a border. ‘Jenny’ is a definite improvement from other Lychnis. ‘Jenny’ has a plant height of 30” and 18” spread. The Lychnis Jenny, 'Lychniscoronaria', a Blooms of Bressingham plant, is an upright perennial with woolly green foliage. If cut back, they will bloom longer. ‘Jenny’ should be planted in full sun to light shade, but does require moisture and free-draining soil. The large fluffy pink flowers double and white markings run into the petals. The flower is larger, sterile and more refined. The 1 ˝ inch blooms are beautiful and they bloom from May to September.
