Hosta - Variegata

Hosta ‘Variegata’ was the 2000 American Hosta Growers Hosta of the Year, and one can see why. The Hosta ‘Variegata’, Hosta undulata, has dramatic, narrow, lance-shaped wavy leaves with white centers edged in green, making it very striking. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and one of the most popular for landscape uses. Hosta ‘Variegata’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. The Hosta flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 18” and a spread of 24-36”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. ... additional information
