Hosta - Whirlwind

The Hosta Whirlwind, 'Hosta', has upright pointed leaves that are twisted and folded. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known for their flowers. A great choice for any beginner gardener. With a plant height of 24” and a spread of 36”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. The creamy yellow to white centers and dark green margins give ‘Whirlwind’ its name. The Salvia Sensation Rose, Salvia nemorosa 'Sensation Rose' (PPAF), is loaded with pink flowers that bloom from May to August. It should be planted in full sun in a moist well-drained area.
