Ice Plant - Table Mountain
For best results, plant Delosperma ‘Mersa Verde’ in a sunny area, with some afternoon shade, with well- drained soil. The Hardy Ice Plant Table Mountain, 'Delosperma ‘Table Mountain’, is a wonderful ground cover that has single, fushia blooms. The foliage, which makes this plant a real winner, is deep green, almost succulent looking and extremely shinny. Delosperma has a plant spread of 18” and a height of 2-3”. ‘Table Mountain’ is said to be an improvement of Delosperma ‘Coperi’. Delosperma looks great as a ground cover in a rock garden or in front of a perennial border. It does prefer dry and sandy soil and does not like wet soil in the winter. Scabiosa - Blue Diamonds It will do excellent for front-of-the-border areas, with Coreopsis ‘Moonbeam', Dianthus 'Bath's Pink', in mass plantings or as cut flowers. It is best to plant Scabiosa in full sun, with well-drained soil and should be watered regularly throughout the warmer months to increase its overall performance. ‘Blue Diamonds’ is a reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. With its green foliage, it has a plant spread of 12-18", and it is disease resistant. |
