Iris - Chrysographes

Mix them into border gardens where their fragrant blooms can be admired. This is a truly black iris that is as velvety ebony as a moonless midnight in summer. Iris chrysographes grows well in moist, even in wet soils; making them especially good for problem areas. It has rigid spreading standards with deep, pendulous falls. The Iris chrysographes, 'Iris', is a sumptuous iris with deliciously fragrant, dark violet blooms, often with yellow streaks on the falls. The Black Iris flowers in June on 24 inch stems. Geranium - Southcombe Double They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. This plant would look wonderful in a pot on a sun-drenched porch and is also deer resistant. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet.
