Korean Evodia

This plant's small size will allow it to be used in restricted spaces, keeping in mind that it is as wide as tall. This plant appears to do better in good soils and seems somewhat intolerant of impoverished soils. Fruit remains during the winter and adds interest to an uninteresting time of year. White flowers are borne in mid summer and are quite showy. The Korean Evodia, 'Evodia daniellii' is one of the few flowering trees that flower in the summer, rather than spring. Serbian Spruce It prefers moist well drained soils, and will tolerates alkaline sites. The upper surface of the needles is glossy, dark green in contrast to the whitish lower surface. The Serbian Spruce, 'Picea omorika', Serbian Spruce forms a narrow, pyramidal silhouette with graceful arching branches. The Serbian spruce, with it's narrow pyramidal habit, allows its use in smaller scale landscape situations than most other conifer trees.
