Lantana - Patriot Hot Country

Plant Lantanas in full sun and well drained soil in either beds or containers. All Lantana's are tough, resilient plants that thrive in hot weather and bloom profusely from spring until frost. Lantana is an excellent choice for beds or containers. Some contact with foliage may irritate sensitive skin. Lantana prefers moist soil, but is drought tolerant. All Lantana's contain a toxin that if ingested may cause stomach discomfort. Pinch off spent flowers to promote new flower growth. The brightly colored flowers of Lantana are excellent for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. The Hot Country Lantana has attractive foliage and the foliage is topped with vividly colored flowers. The Lantana is also commonly called a Shrub Verbena. Bacopa - Bermuda Sky Bacopa Sutera hybrids are incredibly vigorous and versatile. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. The Bacopa Bermuda Sky, 'Sutera hybrids', a Proven Selections plant, is an instant hit with gardeners. Bermuda Sky has lavender flowers and is extra vigorous.
