Lantana - Patriot Sunbeam

All Lantana's contain a toxin that if ingested may cause stomach discomfort. All Lantana's are tough, resilient plants that thrive in hot weather and bloom profusely from spring until frost. The brightly colored flowers of Lantana are excellent for attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Lantana prefers moist soil, but is drought tolerant. The Lantana Patriot Sunbeam, 'Lantana "Patriot" Sunbeam, is an annual shrub like plant that will produce beautiful bright yellow flowers. Lantana is an excellent choice for beds or containers. The Lantana is also commonly called a Shrub Verbena. Pinch off spent flowers to promote new flower growth.
