Leadwort - Plumbago
It can be somewhat invasive (like most ground covers) and should be kept under control. For best results, plant in a fertile, moist but well-drained soil. It looks wonderful with Achillea ‘Moonshine’ and Coreopsis ‘Moonbeam’. ‘Plumbago’ works great at the front of the perennial border, shrub borders, rock gardens, or as an edging plant. The small blue flowers make this ground cover more unusual than the rest because of its late blooming time. ‘Plumbago’ needs full sun but can tolerate afternoon shade. Dianthus - Miss Pinky Dianthus needs a sunny site with well-drained soil, but will tolerate some shade in the afternoon and humidity. The Dianthus 'Miss Pinky', Dianthus Hybrid, has huge, deep salmon pink blooms that would be a flower-arranger’s delight. Dianthus will bloom from mid summer to early fall. In order for a longer bloom time, deadhead the blooms continuously throughout the summer. - a very pretty plant.
