Mullein - Jackie

‘Jackie’ can be planted in rocky slopes to add color, as a border plant or in cottage gardens. Verbascum will tolerate a wide range of soil conditions but must have good drainage or it could be fatal. This low maintenance perennial requires dry to medium soil and should be planted in full sun for best results. Removing spent flowers to encourage additional bloom time. The stalks arise off of fuzzy gray-green leaves, which add contrast to the flower color. ‘Jackie’ has a plant height of 16-18” and a plant spread of 1-2’ and blooms from late spring into summer.
