Pepper Chile - Early Jalapeno
Plant in average garden soil with sufficient organic matter. The Early Jalapeno Hot Pepper is as good container variety and it also makes a smart informal hedge. The Early Jalapeno pepper will turn red after green if left on the vine. Wash your hands immediately. Peppers use quite a bit of water but prefer to be watered deeply and not too often. Note: To get a jump on the season transplant outside, use a walls-of-water or some black plastic to maintain and increase temperatures. Marigold - Giant Sunset The flowers are also large and are shades of orange and yellow. The Giant Sunset will begin to bloom in late spring and will continue to bloom until first frost. This Marigold is excellent for edging, pots, containers, and as a cut flower. Plant in the spring after the last average frost date. The Marigold Giant Sunset, 'Tagetes erecta', is a tall Marigold that will grow to 3 foot tall. The Giant Sunset prefers full sun and rich, organic soils that are well drained.
