Pepper - Sweet - Romanian
Romaime Peppers start out ivory-colored , turn orange, then mature to red. All three color stages can appear at one time. They are perfect for salads, grilling or roasting. The Pepper Sweet Romaine, 'Capsicum annum', produces a rainbow of pepper colors in your garden and on your table. Plant in average garden soil with sufficient organic matter. Transplant outside in the spring 3 to 4 weeks after last frost date. Note: To get a jump on the season transplant outside, use a walls-of-water or some black plastic to maintain and increase temperatures. This pepper plant is a prolific producers. English Daisy The English Daisy, 'Bellis perennis', has profuse bright red and white cushion-like flowers that are a perfect accent for any border. The 2 inch wide white flowers have tons of petals that are tipped with red. The English Daisy blooms in cool temperatures. The English Daisy prefers full sun but does well in partial shade in very hot climates. Plant in early spring, 2 to 3 weeks before the average last frost date or as late as 2 months before the first fall frost. |
