Surfinia Petunias are the most vigorous cascading petunias available. Surfinia Petunias are a vigorously trailing species of an everblooming long-living petunia from South America. Surfinia Petunias grow fast and therefore need ample moisture and fertilzer. Surfinia Petunias are very heat and drought tolerant once established in the ground or pot. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. They do not need to have their dead flower heads removed to continue flowering and they are not leggy. The densely branched foliage and masses of blooms can trail to 4 feet per season. They are ideal for baskets, beds, balconies and combination plantings.
