Portulaca - Double Mix
The soil should be well drained. They are drought tolerant, so do not over water. These easy to grow plants should be planted after the last average frost date, when the temperatures are warmer. The Double Mix displays beautiful 1 to 2 inch rose-like, double, brilliantly colored flowers in red, cerise, rose pink, orange, yellow, white, and pastel shades. The flowers open in the sun and close at night or in the shade. It blooms from early summer into the fall. Portulacas prefer a hot location in full sun. Dill Dukat The Dill Dukat, 'Anethum graveolens', has more foliage that lasts longer on the plant than other dills. The tall graceful plants with the feathery, blue-green leaves, will add style to your garden. The Dukat Dill has small. yellow flowers in a 6 inch wide upside down umbrella shaped flower cluster. Dried Dill leaves, called dill weed, can also be used but the fresh leaves are much stronger and taste better. Plant Dill in the spring after the last day of spring frost.
