Royal Frost® Birch

The beautiful leaf color holds very well throughout the summer. The Royal Frost® Birch, Betula x 'Royal Frost', is a newer selection of Birch with burgundy-red summer foliage that contrasts beautifully with the crisp white bark. Plant against a darker background or green lawn to highlight pale trunks which will add interest to the yard. It is bronze Birch Borer resistant. The beautiful glossy deep burgundy red leaf color, and cinnamon to white exfoliating bark, puts this birch tree in a class of it's own. Fall is a festival of colors ranging from bright red, orange, yellow and purple. This birch has a gracefully upright, yet somewhat pendulous habit. Truly a spectacular tree for all seasons. Water Tupelo The Water Tupelo tree, Nyssa aquatica, is also called the cottongum, sourgum, swamp tupelo, tupelo-gum, and water-gum. Water Tupelo trees are a large, long-lived trees that grow in southern swamps and flood plains where its root system is periodically under water. A good mature tree will produce commercial timber used for furniture and crates. Many kinds of wildlife eat the fruits and it is a favored honey tree.
