Scabiosa - Pink Lemonade

PPAF. It is best to plant Scabiosa in full sun, with well-drained soil and it should be watered regularly throughout the warmer months to increase its overall performance. The Scabiosa Pink Lemonade, 'Scabiosa columbaria', also known as Pincushion Flower, has wonderful light pink flowers that bloom from June to October. Deadheading after the first bloom will encourage repeat bloom time. ‘Pink Lemonade’ is great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds and does excellent in rock gardens. With its green foliage, it has a plant height of 10” and a spread of 12-18"and is disease resistant. ‘Pink Lemondae’ is a reminiscent of a pincushion full of pins. It will do excellent for front-of-the-border areas, with Coreopsis ‘Moonbeam', Dianthus 'Bath's Pink', in mass plantings or as cut flowers. ... additional info

 

Calla Lily - Neon Armor It has a plant height of 13-19” and a plant spread of 12-16”. Being somewhat deer resistant, it is suitable for container growing, as cut flowers and in perennial gardens. ‘Neon Armor’ is perfect for one who is looking for a bright splash of color in any shady spot. It will bloom for 10-11 weeks and should be planted in full sun in a well-drained area. The unique flowers are wavy, unlike other Calla’s. The Calla Neon Armor, 'Zantedeschia', has green broadly shaped foliage with hot pink to bright red flowers that are 1-2” wide.
