Sedum - Frosty Morn

Sedum ‘Frosty Morn’ needs to be planted in full sun in well-drained soil. ‘Frosty Morn’ has a height of 24” and a spread of 18-24”. Plant with asters or coneflowers for a wonderful autumn display. The Sedum ‘Frosty Morn’, also known as Stonecrop, is a wonderful Sedum that has gray-green leaves with creamy white margins. ‘Frosty Morn’ is a great choice for beds and borders and excellent as cut flowers. It is also a great butterfly and bee attractor and disease resistant. The dense, star shaped, pink flowers appear in late summer and last in fall, and bloom from August to September. Clematis ‘Niobe’ needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs. The Clematis ‘Niobe’, Jackmanii x group, has dark red with gold anthers blooms that flower in June to July and range in height of 6-10’ and has a spread of 3’. The foliage is dark green and makes a great contrast with the flower color. Clematis prefers full sun but will tolerate shade in the morning in a well-drained area. (Restricted States: AK, AZ, CA, FL, HI, OR, OT, WA). The red flowers are approximately 6-8” wide. The tops of Clematis prefer full sun while their roots prefer a cool, shady area. It is best to avoid heavy pruning on this perennial until it is fully established.
