Sweet Bell Peppers - Better Belle F1
Beter Belles are alsoTobacco Mosaic tolerant. For best results, make sure the ground does not dry out. Peppers use quite a bit of water but prefer to be watered deeply and not too often. Blossom pruning will improve fruit size. Better Belle pepper plants maintain large fruit size and good production all season. This 1 1/2'-2' tall bushy plant requires little care. Plant in average garden soil with sufficient organic matter. Pinch off early flowers to encourage plant growth. The Sweet Bell Pepper Better Belle F1, 'Capsicum annuum', is an early great-tasting variety with very blocky and thick-walled four-lobed peppers. Transplant outside in the spring 3 to 4 weeks after last frost date. Stuff these peppers with meat and/or cheese mixtures, chop fresh for salads, slice for toppings.
