This upright perennial produces wonderful violet-blue flowers from June till September. Try ‘Goodness Grows’ with Hemerocallis ‘Stella de Oro’ or Veronica ‘White Icicles’. ‘Goodness Grows’ is the longest blooming Veronica in its family. The Veronica ‘Goodness Grows’, Veronica spicata, or also known as Speedwell, is an easy to grow perennial that adds beauty to any garden. With its dark glossy green foliage, it has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18”. Deadhead the flowers after the first bloom to prolong its bloom time. Veronica is great for the first time gardener plus it is deer resistant. ‘Goodness Grows’ needs a full sun area with well-drained soil.
