Winnipeg Parks Rose
This rose has its own root. The red hips in fall are an added bonus. The advantage of own root roses is that once established they are very resilient. If winter's freezing breezes kill the top growth, the rose will grow back in the spring, and the recovered rose will look the same as the one you purchased. The Winnipeg Parks Rose, Rosa 'Winnipeg Parks' (PP9,122), is a hardy, everblooming shrub rose with clusters of deep pinkish-red buds opening to bright cherry-pink, 2-3", double flowers. Angel Face Angel Face roses have ruffled lavender pink blossoms and beautiful buds . The Angel Face rose has a beautiful and well balanced Old Rose scent, the quintessential rose fragrance. It has a strong, old fashioned fragrance, very pleasant as a cut flower. It was an AARS winner in 1969. The plant doesn't grow very tall; it averages around 2-3' tall. |
