Zinnia - Cut & Come Again
The 2 to 3 inch double flowers appear in shades of pink, rose, magenta, scarlet, orange, yellow, and cream. The Zinnia Cut and Come Again, 'Zinnia elegans pumila', displays hot shades of orange, pink and scarlet flowers . For long hot summers, nothing beats zinnias for brilliant bloom color and long bloom period. The zinnia plant is very easy to grow. Zinnia elegans prefer rich, deep and well drained soil. Plant in late spring, about two week after average last frost. For best results mix a high phosphorus, low nitrogen fertilizer in with the soil.
